Am I eligible for an ADHD Assessment?

At Burpengary Station Medical Centre, ADHD assessments are available for both children and adults with Dr Julia Humphreys.

You or your child may be eligible for an ADHD assessment if there are ongoing challenges with:

  • Attention, focus, or concentration

  • Organisation, time management, or completing tasks

  • Impulsivity, restlessness, or difficulty sitting still

  • Emotional regulation or frequent overwhelm

  • Academic, behavioural, or workplace difficulties that may be linked to ADHD

  • Concerns raised by teachers, family members, or health professionals

These appointments are longer than standard GP visits and provide a supportive, structured space to explore how symptoms affect daily life at home, school, or work.

If ADHD is diagnosed, Dr Humphreys can provide ongoing GP-led treatment and management for children and adults, often without the need for a psychiatrist referral.
