About Our Medical Aesthetics Service
Our medical aesthetics service offers personalised, doctor-led consultations for patients wishing to discuss cosmetic concerns and seek professional medical advice.
Every consultation begins with an individual assessment of your medical history, concerns, expectations and relevant clinical factors.
Dr Marcio will discuss the options that may be appropriate for your circumstances, including their potential risks, limitations and expected outcomes. His approach prioritises patient safety, clinical suitability and informed decision-making.
There is no obligation to proceed with treatment, and not all patients will be suitable for a cosmetic procedure.

Medical aesthetics consultations provide an opportunity to discuss your individual cosmetic concerns, preferences and expectations with Dr Marcio.
During your appointment, Dr Marcio will:
- Discuss your concerns and reasons for seeking a consultation.
- Review your relevant medical history, medications and previous procedures.
- Undertake an appropriate clinical assessment.
- Consider your individual circumstances and suitability.
- Explain available management options, including the option of no treatment.
- Provide balanced information about potential risks, limitations and expected outcomes.
Individual assessment and suitability
Recommendations are based on individual clinical assessment rather than cosmetic preferences alone.
A consultation does not guarantee that any particular procedure will be recommended or offered. Dr Marcio may advise against treatment where it is not clinically appropriate.
Your Initial Consultation
Initial Consultation – 60 minutes | $150
Your first appointment is a comprehensive 60-minute consultation with Dr Marcio.
This appointment allows dedicated time to discuss your concerns, review relevant medical information and consider your options without an obligation to proceed.
During your consultation, Dr Marcio will:
- Discuss your individual concerns and expectations.
- Review your medical history, current medications and relevant health conditions.
- Complete an appropriate clinical assessment.
- Discuss possible management options and alternatives.
- Explain potential benefits, risks, complications and limitations.
- Discuss expected outcomes and any relevant recovery considerations.
- Provide information about potential costs and follow-up requirements.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions and consider the information provided before making any decisions.
The $150 consultation fee is payable at the time of booking, is non-refundable and remains payable whether or not you proceed with treatment.
The consultation fee covers the initial medical assessment and discussion. Additional procedures or appointments may attract separate fees.
Medical Aesthetics Treatment Costs
Medical aesthetics treatment fees are separate from the $150 initial consultation fee.
Where a procedure is considered clinically appropriate, Dr Marcio will discuss the proposed treatment plan, alternatives, associated risks and any relevant costs.
An individual quotation will be provided before you decide whether to proceed.
Medical aesthetics services are privately billed, include GST where applicable and are not eligible for Medicare rebates.
Risks and Important Considerations
All cosmetic procedures carry potential risks, and outcomes can vary between individuals.
Depending on the procedure, possible complications may include:
- Pain, discomfort, swelling or bruising.
- Infection or adverse reactions.
- Unintended or unsatisfactory cosmetic outcomes.
- The need for additional medical assessment or care.
- More serious complications, depending on the nature of the procedure.
Some complications may require further medical treatment and may have lasting consequences.
The specific risks, limitations, potential benefits, alternatives and recovery considerations relevant to any proposed procedure will be discussed with you during your consultation.
No cosmetic procedure can guarantee a particular result.
Patients are encouraged to consider all information carefully before making a treatment decision. Choosing not to proceed is always an option.
Review Appointments
Follow-up or review appointments may be recommended where clinically appropriate.
An optional review appointment is available at no additional consultation charge, subject to the clinic's review arrangements.
If further assessment, procedures or treatment are clinically recommended, any associated fees will be explained before proceeding.
Patients experiencing unexpected symptoms or concerns following a procedure should contact the clinic for appropriate medical advice.
Who May Not Be Suitable for Treatment?
Medical aesthetics procedures are not suitable for everyone.
Factors that may affect individual suitability include:
- Being under 18 years of age.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Relevant allergies or previous adverse reactions.
- Active infections, illness or certain medical conditions.
- Medications that may increase procedural risks.
- Previous cosmetic procedures or relevant complications.
- Individual expectations, circumstances or other clinical considerations.
