About Our Medical Aesthetics Service
Our medical aesthetics service offers personalised, doctor-led consultations and non-surgical cosmetic injectable treatments. Every treatment plan is based on a careful assessment of your facial anatomy, medical history, concerns and goals.
Dr Marcio will explain the options that may be suitable for you, the expected outcomes, potential risks and whether treatment is clinically appropriate. His approach prioritises patient safety, informed decision-making and subtle, natural-looking results.
Dr Marcio holds a Master of Surgery in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the University of Sydney. He has extensive plastic surgery experience and postgraduate advanced training in cosmetic injectables through the Derma Institute.
Treatments Available
The service is limited to cosmetic injectables, including botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers. Laser treatments, microneedling and other skin treatment modalities are not currently offered.
Botulinum Toxin Treatments
Treatment areas may include:
- Frown lines
- Forehead lines
- Crow's feet
- Bunny lines
- Lip flip
- Nose tip lift
- Marionette lines
- Gummy smile
- Chin dimpling
- Jaw slimming and bruxism treatment (masseter)
- Nefertiti neck lift
- Platysmal bands
- Excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis)
Dermal Filler Treatments
Dermal filler may be administered using needle or cannula techniques for:
- Cheek augmentation
- Chin augmentation
- Jawline definition
Suitability, the amount of product required and the final treatment cost will be confirmed during your consultation.
Your Initial Consultation
Initial Consultation – 60 minutes
Your first appointment is a 60-minute consultation with Dr Marcio. During this appointment, he will:
- Discuss your concerns and treatment goals
- Review your relevant medical history
- Assess your facial anatomy and suitability for treatment
- Explain suitable options, expected outcomes and potential risks
- Develop a personalised treatment plan
- Provide a clear quote before treatment proceeds
Where clinically appropriate and time allows, treatment may commence during the same appointment.
The initial consultation fee is $150, payable at the time of booking. This fee covers the consultation, is non-refundable and remains payable whether or not you proceed with treatment.
Review Appointments
An optional review appointment is available at no additional consultation charge. If further injected units or filler are requested or clinically recommended as a touch-up, the additional product used will be charged at the applicable rate.
If urgent treatment with hyaluronidase is clinically required, there is no charge for the hyaluronidase treatment.
Who May Not Be Suitable for Treatment?
Cosmetic injectable treatment is generally not offered to:
- Patients under 18, unless there is a clear clinical indication, such as hyperhidrosis or facial palsy
- Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Patients with relevant allergies
- Patients with an active illness, infection or other relevant medical condition
These are not the only possible contraindications. Dr Marcio will complete a full medical screening and confirm your suitability during consultation.

Botulinum toxin treatments are priced at $10 per unit, with the fees below based on typical dose ranges for each treatment area. The final dose and cost will be confirmed during your consultation based on your individual anatomy and treatment goals.

Dermal filler fees depend on the area treated and the amount and type of product required.
