Dr Marcio completed his medical degree (MD) in Brazil in 2012 and moved to Australia in 2015, where he later obtained a Master of Surgery (MS) from the University of Sydney in 2019.

Prior to entering general practice training, Dr Marcio worked across multiple Australian hospitals in general surgery and plastic surgery. This experience has provided him with advanced procedural skills and a meticulous, patient-centred approach to care.

Dr Marcio  has a special interest in skin cancer medicine, skin surgery and minor surgical procedures. He enjoys the wide-ranging nature of general practice and welcomes all patient presentations, from preventative care to chronic disease management and procedural medicine, delivering comprehensive care.

Outside of medicine, Dr Marcio is a proud father of two young boys and loves spending time with his family. He enjoys travelling, camping, cooking and playing sports.

Dr Marcio is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. He is currently an RACGP Registrar completing his specialist GP training within the practice.
