Dr Marcio completed his medical degree (MD) in Brazil in 2012 before moving to Australia in 2015. He later obtained a Master of Surgery (MS) in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery from the University of Sydney in 2019.

Dr Marcio worked extensively in Australian hospitals across general surgery and plastic surgery for over 10 years before moving to general practice. This background has provided him with advanced procedural skills and a detailed knowledge of anatomy.

Dr Marcio's particular interests are in skin cancer medicine, skin surgery, minor surgical procedures, preventative health and aesthetic medicine. He has completed postgraduate training in cosmetic injectables through the Derma Institute and offers personalised consultations for patients seeking evidence-based, non-surgical aesthetic treatments.

He is passionate about helping patients maintain their long-term health through prevention, early detection and lifestyle optimisation, with particular interests in men's health and women's health. His approach to aesthetic medicine focuses on achieving natural-looking results while prioritising patient safety, informed decision-making and realistic expectations.

Outside of medicine, Dr Marcio is a proud father of two young boys and enjoys travelling, camping, cooking and playing sports.

Dr Marcio is currently completing his specialist GP training through the RACGP.
