Both the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines are available at our practice. Bookings are available online or over the phone.

Pfizer is available to all patients over the age of 12.

Our practice is not able to give COVID-19 vaccines to non-Medicare cardholders.

The Vaccine

ELIGIBILITY FOR PFIZER VACCINE

  • Any patient over the age of 12 years

ELIGIBILITY FOR ASTRAZENECA VACCINE

  • Any adult aged 60 years or over
  • Anyone under the age of 60 years after having a pre-consult regarding the vaccine with our doctor

BOOSTER COVID-19 VACCINE

A Pfizer booster dose for patients who have received their first two doses of COVID-19 vaccine has been recommended to give the most protection for the longest period of time. You should receive your booster dose 6 months after your second dose.

(Note: If you have received a third dose of COVID-19 vaccine as an immunocompromised patient, it is not recommended to get a booster as well.)

DOSE 3 FOR IMMUNOCOMPROMISED PATIENTS

For patients who are severely immunocompromised, a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccination has been recommended. If you are severely immunocompromised, you should receive your third COVID-19 vaccine at 2 months after getting your second dose.

If you are unsure whether you should be receiving a third dose, feel free to book in to chat with your GP about it.
